Back to normal yesterday the school community of Riolosas the high school with high school classes – after closing last week – opened and operated, safely.
There were no classes on Friday, as decontamination work was neededwhen three students and a cleaner caught fleas, but the problem was dealt with, immediately, by the competent Service of the Municipality of Western Achaia.
It was sprayed by a special workshop, while another was at the scene and rounded up three stray dogs, which were in the school, from which the fleas were probably transmitted to the students.
The president of Riolou, Dionysis Vavaroutas, said to “Peloponnisos”: “Certain students and a cleaner got fleas and as soon as we were informed we immediately contacted the Municipality of Western Achaia. In fact, competent crews came soon and collected the dogs, while another crew disinfected the whole area and the problem was solved. Yesterday the school opened and functioned normally.”
The director of the Secondary Education of Achaia Eugenia Pierri noted in “P”: “We were informed about the incident, but I know that it was dealt with and Rioliou High School carried out its school program as usual yesterday”.
“P” also addressed the municipal authority from where absolutely no comment was made!
