‘Muslims and Christians can go to the mosque; It is not right to accuse Hindus of soft Hinduism if they touch Kuri’; AK Antony

AK Antony

Senior Congress leader AK Antony is against labeling sandalwood-wearing Hindus who go to religious temples as soft Hindutva. Both Muslim and Christian can go to church. It is not right to make them soft Hindutva if they go to a Hindu temple or wear a tilaka. Such campaigns will only help bring Modi back to power.

In 2024, all religious people should be united to work to bring down Modi. He was speaking while inaugurating the 138th Foundation Day celebrations of the Congress at Indira Bhavan, the headquarters of the KPCC.

The majority should be mobilized in the struggle against Modi. A Muslim can go to a mosque, a Christian can go to a mosque. AK Antony said that it is not right to accuse Hindu friends of soft Hinduism immediately if they go to temple and put tilak on their forehead.

AK Antony said that the majority have the same right to go to temple as to go to church. It is not right to accuse temple goers of soft Hinduism. Anthony said that it will only help Modi’s rule to come again.
