New research funding is now intended to provide a remedy: this is from the Ludwig Boltzmann Society (LBG) brought into being Funding program for clinical research groups (KFG) supports research initiatives with a focus on patient-oriented, medically relevant topics in the area of non-commercial clinical research. Three research groups are now being funded, whose work will be supported with eight million euros each for a period of up to eight years.
