A Samsung carried out tests with a new tablet, which has not yet been identified, on the Geekbench 6 benchmark platform. The device ran the Exynos 1280 chip, made official in 2022 and which equips devices such as the Galaxy A25 and the Galaxy A53.

O chip Exynos 1280, from Samsung itself, operates at frequencies of up to 2.4 GHz, and even has energy-efficient cores at 2.0 GHz. With the platform, the tablet achieved 930 points in single-core, and 1,843 in multi-core in the test carried out on Geekbench 6.

The registry shows that the device must have 4 GB of RAM. Evidence suggests that this new Samsung tablet would be aimed at entry market. The test was run on a version of One UI 6 (Android 14) for models with larger screens.

Unfortunately, other specifications of the Samsung tablet have not been disclosed. Another point that draws attention is that the model number SM-P620 is similar to the identification of the Galaxy Tab S6 Litean input device from the brand.

Therefore, we can speculate that this device may be part of a new generation of the “Lite” series, or even an updated 2024 version of the Tab S6 Lite itself. There is also the possibility that the model will not actually be launched.

In any case, there is no information on when Samsung should present this possible new tablet from the company. However, it would not be surprising if the South Korean brand presented the model in the coming weeks or months.

And you, do you believe that this supposed new Samsung tablet is which model? Tell us in the comments below!
