Al-Marsad Newspaper: Muhammad Al-Sardi, a beekeeper and an expert in the honey trade, explained that bee honey only knows its true owner, and laboratories cannot detect adulterated honey.
He said during an interview with the “Yahla” program on the Al-Ekhbariya channel, that for honey, only the product that manufactures it knows about honey, and it is difficult to detect it.
He continued: Most beekeepers have stayed away from bees, as a kilo costs us approximately 300 to 350 riyals, as a production only, but today a kilo costs us 9 riyals, and this is impossible, as a producer, how do I continue.
And he added, “Saudi honey is one of the finest types in the world, and we have won many international awards, but there is no laboratory power to reveal the fraudulent factory honey.”
