Nahibu becomes a partner of the Le French Gut project » PACA’s economic and political newsletter

Nahibu, partner of the Le French Gut project.

Already a partner of the Million Microbiomes from Humans Project (MMHP) global consortium, Nahibu continues its desire to advance microbiota science by supporting the French initiative Le French Gut.

Led by INRAE MetaGenoPolis (MGP) and carried out in collaboration with AP-HP, Le French Gut is a project that brings together various actors around the issues raised by the intestinal microbiota. Ambitious and innovative, the project aims to set up a mapping of the French microbiota to understand the heterogeneity of the intestinal microbiota. This will make it possible, for example, to study and even anticipate the link between the microbiota and chronic diseases.

“A great microbial diversity allows better resilience in the event of disturbance (period of stress, illness, dietary change) and promotes good adaptation of the organism. The extent of the biological functions of the microbiota and its constant interaction with its host makes the study of this microbiota-human balance very complex. To better understand the functioning of the microbiota and consider preventing imbalances in the health or well-being of humans, Nahibu wishes to support the Le French Gut project in the name of scientific progress relating to the microbiota” Says Mathilde Hazon, manager Research, development and innovation, at Nahibu.

Founded in 2019, the Nahibu company invites each individual to discover the composition of their microbiota via its digital solution (available on www.nahibu.com). But also via a professional microbiota analysis solution deployed today with medical biology players as well as in the world of well-being, in France and internationally. Today, the R&D work carried out on an exclusive cohort of thousands of microbiota enables Nahibu to develop its partnerships with food, pharmaceutical and medical industries: development of new products and services, audit and product enhancement existing. The objective: to encourage the industry to better understand the microbiota factor in its development. As such, Nahibu recently launched the I Love Microbiome movement, bringing together various ambassadors, with the aim of promoting a lifestyle that respects the microbiota and its diversity.
