Today Almaty hosted the Naiza FC 52 x Ural FC 3 mixed martial arts tournament, where one of the main events of the show was the battle of the infamous Russian MMA fighter Vyacheslav Datsik against Kazakh Galymzhan Zhaslanov. The fight was held according to the rules of boxing in MMA gloves.
The first round went to reconnaissance, where Datsik constantly went forward and tried to bring his attacks to the target, and Zhaslanov, working as the second number, looked closely at the opponent. But already in the second round, everything became much more fun. The fighters staged a tough exchange in the center of the ring, and Datsik was able to knock down Zhaslanov, then went for finishing moves, but picked up a lot of oncoming blows, from which he could hardly stand on his feet. The final round was dictated by Zhaslanov, where he simply smashed Datsik with combinations of punches, ending with powerful side kicks.
In the end, the fight lasted all the allotted three rounds and Zhaslanov won by a majority of judges’ votes.
