The husband of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, was arrested for drunk driving shortly before midnight Saturday night in California, TMZ reported.

Paul Pelosi, 82, faces two counts of impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over 0.08, according to court documents seen by the New York Post.
According to the American media, the husband of Mme Pelosi was jailed around 4:13 a.m. Sunday morning, before being released a little later at around 7:26 a.m.
Mr. Pelosi’s bond had been set at $5,000 for both charges.
No further details regarding this incident have been released.
The Napa County Police Department and Nancy Pelosi’s office did not respond to requests for comment from the New York Post.
In a statement made to the American chain ABC News, the office of Mme Pelosi said “the Speaker of the House will not comment on this private event which occurred while she was on the East Coast.”
