NASA, the world’s most famous space agency, announced surprising news: it launched NASA+, a unique video streaming service. Unlike other platforms like Netflix and Disney+, which offer a paid subscription with sometimes annoying ads, NASA+ is completely free. NASA+ gives you access to exclusive and original content on science, technology, discovery and space exploration. You can also follow NASA’s space missions live and interact with astronauts and scientists. From families to enthusiasts, the streaming service offers a chance to experience the excitement of space adventures firsthand, thanks to live broadcasts of future launches, documentaries and new original series that will only be found on this platform. And best of all, NASA+ is free and ad-free. “Our new streaming platform is an open window to space that you can watch whenever and wherever you want,” Marc Etkind, the space agency’s chief communications officer, said in a press release. “With this change in our digital presence, we want to show the world how NASA challenges the unknown in air and space, how it increases curiosity through discovery, and how it creates innovative solutions for the benefit of humanity.” NASA+ will be available starting Nov. 8 through the space agency’s app on iOS and Android mobile devices and tablets, as well as streaming media players such as Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV. In addition to launching its own streaming service, the space agency is currently reviewing its entire digital presence. He is working on a new web experience (and a new app) that will provide information about his missions, research projects, and updates on the Artemis program, among other things. NASA has many websites for different programs and departments, but the new platform will have content from all of them.
