A NASA official announced that a new attempt to launch the giant American space agency rocket to the moon next October will be “difficult”, and is likely to start the mission in November.
The SLS rocket, the most powerful rocket ever designed by NASA, was returned to its primary location in the assembly building to protect it from atmospheric variables.
“We know that the earliest launch date will be the end of October, but we will likely have to complete the mission in mid-November,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson.
He added, “The possibility of launching in October is no longer on the table. It will be difficult.”
