NASA to launch new commercial ISS resupply mission next week

NASA and commercial cargo provider Northrop Grumman have set next Tuesday, August 1, for the launch of the company’s 19th International Space Station (ISS) resupply mission.

The launch is scheduled for 8:31 p.m. Eastern Time from NASA’s Wallops Flight Center in the eastern United States of Virginia.

Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus cargo ship is scheduled to reach the space station on Friday, August 4, with more than 3,700 kilos of hardware.

According to NASA, scientific research launched to the ISS includes studies of fire suppression, gene therapy, atmospheric monitoring and other experiments, as well as student artwork sent to the ISS. ‘space.
