Riyadh: A holiday has been announced for the private and non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia on the occasion of National Day. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced that September 23 will be a public holiday for employees in this sector.
Schools and universities across the country will have a holiday on September 24 to coincide with National Day. Holidays have been announced for educational institutions to give students an opportunity to participate in the celebrations.
At the same time, schools in Saudi Arabia started working in the month of August after completing the summer vacation. The new academic year started after the Saudi summer vacation. The first semester is scheduled from August 20 to November 15.
