The flow of vehicles from the central provinces towards Ho Chi Minh City on National Highway 1A suddenly increased, causing prolonged traffic jams, emergency vehicles had to run into the opposite lane.

From the evening of January 28, the number of vehicles from the central provinces towards Ho Chi Minh City on the National Highway 1A section through Dong Nai province was increasingly crowded. At 20:00, vehicles still had to wait in long queues to move through Bien Hoa city.
As for the road section in Xuan Loc district (Dong Nai province), bordering Binh Thuan province, traffic jam occurs from the afternoon in the north-south direction. Most of the vehicles from the North and the Central region move to the southern provinces, some travel back to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare to go back to work.
The sudden increase in the number of vehicles caused Highway 1A to be stuck in traffic for tens of kilometers.
Traffic jam makes it difficult for priority vehicles, some ambulances carrying patients have to run through the opposite lane to move.

Mr. Le Thanh Trung (Binh Thuan hometown) said that he started moving from Binh Thuan to Binh Duong along National Highway 1A from 12:00; However, it was only until 20:00 to arrive in the territory of Bien Hoa City and still being “buried” here.
And Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (living in Ho Chi Minh City) said that her family had been traveling in Ninh Thuan since the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year. Today, the whole family had to return to Ho Chi Minh City and was stuck in traffic for many hours on the road.
“It took me an hour to run for a few kilometers, I don’t know when I can get home, I’m so tired,” Mai lamented.

Faced with the above fact, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Provincial Police has mobilized the maximum force to do the task of regulating and dividing traffic. However, due to the sudden increase in the number of vehicles, the flow of vehicles is still stuck in many sections on National Highway 1A.
