Canadian Gerry Fleming (55) has been appointed coach of Kloten. He signed a 2 year contract. Last season, the technician led Frankfurt Löwen, a team with which he experienced elimination in the pre-playoffs of DEL.
Fleming succeeds Jeff Tomlinson (52), who is stepping down for health reasons. The Canadian-German will however remain in Kloten in new functions yet to be defined.
The club from the Zurich suburbs has also announced the extension for one season of the contract of Austrian international Patrick Obrist (30 years old). He has been evolving with Kloten since the 2015/16 season.
