A number of national musicians, including Afgan, Lyodra, and Kunto Aji, will appear at the Rhapsody Nusantara concert in the Pesona Nusantara series of events at Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta, on May 11 2024. The event, which is being held by Nusantara TV, will also be attended by dozens of traditional culinary stalls. from MSME actors in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas.
The concert will also be enlivened by the music groups Letto, Shaggydog, and Ndarboy Genk, as well as singer from Bali, Bulan Sutena, and DJ Laurabiel. Afgan welcomed the holding of the music concert as part of the Pesona Nusantara festival series.
The singer, who is known for his pop and R&B songs, said that music is an important part in the development of society’s culture. “Let’s meet at Pesona Nusantara. Make this a special moment to sing with the audience in Yogyakarta,” said Afgan, who has had a career of more than 15 years in the national music industry.
Apart from music concerts and culinary festivals, the Pesona Nusantara series of events will continue with the Volcano Run race at the Merapi Volcano Museum on May 12 2024. This competition includes 5, 10 and 21 kilometer distance running categories which will be participated by around 2,500 runners from various cities.
Nusantara TV Commercial Director Maryadi said the Pesona Nusantara event was held to support tourism development in the city of Yogyakarta. Apart from that, this festival is part of Nusantara TV’s steps in getting closer to the people of Yogyakarta and Central Java. “Pesona Nusantara is part of the Road to Grand Launching of Nusantara TV agenda which we will hold in August 2024,” said Maryadi.

This first national digital TV in Indonesia was previously broadcast via streaming on the online news portal www.nusantaratv.com in 2015.
The Pesona Nusantara Arena within the Prambanan Temple complex is prepared to welcome more than 5,000 spectators. Festival tickets can be purchased online via Nusantara TV’s partner, tiket.com, with a special promo price of IDR 165,000. People in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas can also buy tickets directly at a number of cafes such as Kopi Legend, The Stairs, Liquid Bar & Kitchen, Silol Kopi & Eatery, and Eskala Eatery Bar & Coffee. Tickets can also be purchased at the counter at the Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University Student Executive Board and Prambanan Temple.
