NNA – Director of the Speaker’s Office, Mr. Nabih Berri, member of the Parliamentary Liberation and Development Bloc, MP Hani Kobeisy, sponsored the completion ceremony of the 24 electric line project to the wells of the Al-Madina plain in the town of Kfar Rumman, which was borne by a company and a number of philanthropists from Kfar Rumman.

Kobeissi toured the town’s wells, in the presence of Mayor Haitham Abu Zeid, President of the Al-Zein Association in Lebanon, Saad Al-Zein, Engineer Ali Al-Ghoul representing the General Director of the South Lebanon Foundation, Ali Murad representing the Murad Foundation, Mr. Kamal Ghabris and Jamil Ibrahim, and the town’s municipal and optional activities.

He delivered a speech in which he said: “The south is under siege at all levels, from electricity and water, and in all areas in which the state’s policy is managed at the level of neglect and failure to follow up on people’s concerns. The town of Kafrman has suffered, like the rest of the south, from water scarcity as a result of a lack of electricity, and after vigorous follow-up With the Electricité du Liban and the South Lebanon Water Authority, and in coordination between the municipality of Kafrman and the South Lebanon Water Authority, the extension of a feeding line 24 to the Kfarman wells has been completed.

He continued, “We thank everyone who contributed to the implementation of this project. When efforts are combined, we can achieve all the best for our people. We are suffering from a siege that is the implementation of external sanctions.
