Tuesday, December 12, the Saint-Martial village hall had a festive feel. Fully filled, it received all the seniors from the ADMR, nursing homes (Fontanelle and Sauveterre), and others. Children from the local school joined them and offered them songs and poetry. This project is the fruit of those responsible for the ADMR, under the leadership of its president Jean-Louis Grèzes-Besset, staff and volunteers, responds to the project launched by the Conference of Funders who are actors in prevention (Department , ARS, CARSAT, MSA, CPAM, ANAH, Rodez Agglo, MF, Pension fund). The local ADMR has positioned itself on preventing the health of seniors, combating isolation, strengthening and supporting caregivers. Five thematic days were organized during the year 2023: March 14 in Centprès, June 21 at the Fontanelle nursing home, September 21 at the Sauveterre nursing home, November 8 in Camjac and December 12 in Tauriac. More than 160 participants, to which must be added the 32 schoolchildren from the town, for this last meeting in the form of a Christmas snack. The primary aim of the project was to create meeting times, a successful bet. Throughout the meetings, the elderly people impatiently awaited the next session, a sign of the pleasure of the relationship. In the introduction, the president of the ADMR, Jean-Louis Grèzes-Besset, thanked all the partners, the departmental advisor Jacques Barbezange, the volunteers, the staff without whom the project could not have existed.
