All over Karaganda and the region today, March 22, festivities were held in honor of Nauryz meiramy – including on the square in front of the city House of Friendship. The groups of ethno-cultural associations of the regional Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan – “Dorule”, “Cossack freemen”, “Khaidak”, “Vainakh” and many others performed here.
In addition to creative performances, warm words of wishes were heard from the chairmen of ethno-cultural associations, as well as from the teams of Karaganda universities.
A cozy yurt town was located on the square in front of the House of Friendship, where each guest of the holiday could treat himself to baursaks and other national dishes, as well as take a memorable photo. Competitions were also held here – those who wished could test their strength in the national games.
