NBA / Lakers bullish!Gobert was suspended by the Timberwolves for 1 game and missed the play-offs | NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves said today that center Gobert was suspended for tomorrow’s playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers after punching teammate Anderson in the chest on the sidelines yesterday.

According to reports from Archyde.com and Agence France-Presse, the Timberwolves said in a statement that Gobert (Rudy Gobert) will not travel to Los Angeles for tomorrow’s game against the Lakers. The winner of the battle between the Timberwolves and the Lakers will qualify for this year’s NBA playoffs.

Gobert will miss one game and will be eligible for Game 2 if the Timberwolves lose to the Lakers.

Gobert was pulled from the Timberwolves’ 113-108 win over the New Orleans Pelicans yesterday after an altercation with teammates during a first-half timeout.

According to the American sports news network ESPN, when Gobert was injured, AndersonKyle Anderson) repeatedly insulted Gobert.

Gobert said on social media Twitter (Twitter) last night: “Today I was emotionally controlled, and no matter what people said about me, I should not react like that. I want to say to the fans, the team, and especially Anderson Apologies, he was my teammate, someone I loved and respected.”

The Timberwolves are ranked 8th seed in the NBA Western Conference. They will face the 7th seeded Lakers tomorrow. If they win, they will face the 2nd seed Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs.

If the Timberwolves lose to the Lakers tomorrow, they will face the winner of the Pelicans and Thunder playoffs, and the winner will face the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the first round.

The 30-year-old Frenchman Gobert has been named Defensive Player of the Year three times. He played 70 games for the Timberwolves this season, averaging 13.4 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
