NBA stamped rookie for Partizan Belgrade. The Serbian club formalized on Saturday evening the signing of PJ Dozier, NBA player between 2017 and 2023. The American signed for one season and will live his first experience outside the United States.
Undrafted in 2017, he started his professional career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he played just two games. Then passed by the Boston Celtics, he spent the majority of his NBA career at the Denver Nuggets, with whom he played for three seasons. Losing momentum, he played with the Sacramento Kings last season.
Victim of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in 2021, Dozier (26) has never really found a place in the NBA since. In Belgrade, he will try to revive his career to, perhaps, return to the NBA quickly, like Dante Exum, passed by Partizan last season and signed by the Dallas Mavericks this summer.
