Ndanu/Limete incidents: hearing postponed to February 23 –

The Kinshasa-Matete High Court held the mobile hearing at the Penitentiary and Reeducation Center on the case between the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the civil party, Gérard Mulumba kongolo wa kongolo, Vice-Governor of the city of Kinshasa against the warned Ndaya Tshimanga and others, we learn from the Communication Unit of the governor ai of the Congolese capital.

According to our sources, people incarcerated at Makala central prison are being prosecuted for criminal conspiracy and verbal threats of attack.

According to the source, the court, in today’s hearing, heard all the defendants who spoke about the incidents of December 14. Incidents which took place in the Ndanu district in the commune of Limete and this during the period of the electoral campaign of Gérard Mulumba then candidate for the provincial deputy of the Limete constituency.

To further enlighten the court on this case, the hearing was postponed to February 23 at the request of the civil party’s lawyers Gérard Mulumba in order to allow the judges to view the videos taken during the incidents.

It should be noted that the Vice-Governor of the city of Kinshasa Gérard Mulumba, a civil party, was represented by a group of his lawyers led by lawyer David Tshimanga.
