Kochi: Actor Evala Babu has complained that he and his star organization Amma are being insulted in a remark related to the film Mukundan Unni Associates.
Babu said that only a part of his speech was used to insult him and videos containing obscenities are being circulated through media such as Instagram and YouTube. Awala Babu lodged a complaint with the Kochi Cyber Cell asking for an investigation into the incident.
Mukundan Unni Associates was a film that came late last year with a difference in theme and presentation. The black comedy film was directed by debutant Abhinav Sundar Nayak. Vineeth Srinivasan also played the title character.
After a while, it was Evala Babu’s comments about the film that brought the film to social media discussions. He had said that the film is full negative and he does not know how such a film got censored.
” That movie ran here. Who is devalued here? For the filmmakers or the audience? It is a movie where the producer got profit. I can’t think of a movie like that. I was surprised to remember where the audience was going”- said Ivala Babu.

The film, which hit the theaters on November 11 last year, was released OTT on January 13 through Disney Hotstar. Under the banner of Joy Movie Productions, Dr. The film is produced by Ajith Joy. The film is written by Vimal Gopalakrishnan and the director.
