Nehammer and Kogler announce new security strategy – security policy

Vienna – Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) and Vice-Chancellor Werner Kogler (Greens) want to work out a new security strategy, they announced on Tuesday in the “ZiB”. Experts have long called for an adaptation of the ten-year-old security doctrine. In view of the Russian war of aggression once morest Ukraine, the ÖVP-Green coalition now wants to tackle this. The new security strategy is to be approved by Parliament before the end of this legislative period.
