Currently located at 29, rue des Cailloux in Bressuire, the addictology support and prevention center (Csapa), the free information, screening and diagnosis center for HIV infections and viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections (CeGIDD) and the public vaccination center 79 (CVP 79) will move in May 2024 to a new building at 71, rue de Malabry.
These more spacious, brighter and more suitable premises (access, reception and care of patients) were ordered by the CHNDS.
A structure specializing in addiction
Csapa is a structure specializing in the treatment of addictions. He receives anyone who has questions about their consumption of psychoactive substances or addictive behaviors (gambling, sex, etc.). The center is part of an addiction care sector which includes the Csapa (three sites in Thouars, Parthenay and Bressuire), the Addiction Liaison and Care Team (Faye-l’Abbesse) and hospitalization beds for withdrawal (six beds for the first week then 24 beds for follow-up care and rehabilitation in Thouars).
CeGIDD and CVP79 are the northern branches of the department of a departmental system organized with the Niort hospital center.
Free vaccinations from 6 years old
CeGIDD welcomes anonymously and free of charge for the prevention, information, screening and diagnosis of HIV infection, hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections. It can provide post-exposure treatment or pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV, and provides prevention of other risks linked to sexuality (contraception, detection of violence, sexual disorders, etc.).
The public vaccination center raises awareness and provides free vaccinations from the age of 6 for the most vulnerable populations (people in precarious situations, migrants, travelers, incarcerated people, etc.).
