Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 is all set to enter its sixth week. The curiosity of Captain Aaravum in the sixth week was one of the highlights of today’s episode. The new captain was announced today, putting an end to that aspiration. Akhil became the captain this time with his excellent performance in the captaincy task. This is Akhil’s second captaincy.
The new Captaincy Task was a sequel to Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4, which is rich with great tasks and games. Bigg Boss has announced that three people will be selected for the captaincy task this time from the top-ranked contestants for their performance in the two-day weekly task. Bigg Boss then announced the names of those who received the best rankings. They were Aparna, Akhil, Nimisha, Naveen, Suraj, Suchitra, Dhanya, Dilsha, Daisy and Ronson. The suggestion was to select from these those who excelled in tasks, public works and household chores and who had leadership skills. According to this, Daisy, Suchitra and Akhil got the highest number of votes.
The captaincy task was also very interesting. The task was to inflate the multi-colored feathers from the starting point of the tracks and deposit them through the rings at the finishing point without falling to the ground. The trio wore the same color of feathers they received during the match. Competitors were slowly gaining confidence in the task, which at first seemed very difficult. Akhil was the best performer. Akhil carried 17 feathers until he heard the buzzer. Daisy delivered 11 feathers and Suchitra 5 feathers.
Mirchi Music Awards at South Asianet Plus
The 12th Mirchi Music Awards South Awards will be held on Asianet Plus. The show airs on Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. The awards were presented by Entertainment Network India Limited, owned by Mirchi, a private FM radio brand, to recognize the talents of the Malayalam music world. Sujatha Mohan won the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The song “Vathilkal Vellaripravu” from the movie Sufi and Sujatha has been selected as the best song. M Jayachandran is the best music director who composed this song. Lal Jose’s Meow won the Album of the Year award. Justin Varghese is the music director. Sooraj Santhosh is the best singer and KS Chithra is the best singer. BK Harinarayan is the best lyricist.
Swetha Mohan, Vibin Xavier, Vivekananda and Anju Joseph sang at the concert. The show is hosted by Anoop Krishnan and Mirchi RJ Varsha. Actress Poorna’s dance and Binu Adimali’s comedy party also graced the occasion. Swetha Mohan’s heart touching song composed for her mother and playback singer Sujatha has won the hearts of the audience. G Venugopal and M Jayanthan’s heartfelt tributes to legendary film and drama composer Arjunan Master took the audience back to nostalgic memories. The presence of Suraj Santhosh, Jaxbijoy, Lekha Nair, Afsal Yusuf, Sudeep Kumar, Sangeetha Srikanth and Vinayak Sasikumar made the award night attractive.
