Technopolis is the annual meeting for Transalley, the sustainable mobility technology park, which presented, on September 29, in Famars, near Valenciennes, the new companies and entities welcomed.
The annual Technopolis meeting, last Friday, was an opportunity to recall the highlights of the sustainable mobility technopole, in the presence of its partners, Region, CCI, university and Valenciennes metropolis.
Today, 80 companies and project leaders
Over the last twelve months, the number of companies and project leaders has increased from 70 to 80. Let us cite two new design and engineering agencies opened by the German group Bertrandt (automobile and railway) and by the French company Excent (industry), the Homnéo training center (BTS, bachelors in tertiary professions), the Îl Ô Marmots crèche for staff from Transalley, the university and residents of Famars, an agency of the GSF cleaning group and Vallourec.
A new real estate phase will start
The Novae corporate real estate program has just opened 2,500 m2 of offices for rent or sale, and a second phase of 2,000 m2 is due to start in November. In addition, one of the companies hosted by Transalley will build a 4,000 m2 building to support its growth. And the future Salto program plans five new buildings also dedicated to promoting the reception and development of businesses. The technology park has also just obtained the Retis label which recognizes that it has achieved its objectives.
Finally, this Technopolis meeting ended with the presentation of project leaders supported by the incubator. The fields are varied: connected objects to decarbonize industrial machines (Acuer), rail logistics (Logixfer), folding cargo bike (Boxter), bicycle with wooden frame (BB), leisure site for electric motorcycles (Unitrack), rehabilitation by video games (AVR) and inflation terminals on the beaches for balls, buoys and other paddle boards.
