The second will target the homelessness phenomenon as well as addictions, substance abuse and cleanliness issues in the neighborhood. Finally, the third axis provides for infrastructure adaptation works and the development of video surveillance.

“The situation from Gare du Midi east complex and requires more collaboration. In concrete terms, the National Crisis Center will now coordinate the efforts of local authorities, the Brussels-Capital Region, the competent bodies at federal level, SNCB and Infrabel. Concrete measures are expected soon”, said the Prime Minister, Alexander DeCroo.
