New domes and mini-chalets with spas to go on weekends

Want some winter cocooning? The Domaine des Constellations, which officially opened its doors last July, is perfect for nature lovers.

This new high-end glamping area in Lac-aux-Sables, in the heart of Mauricie, currently offers the rental of 4 mini-chalets and 5 4-season domes.

Along the Batiscan River, each home, surrounded by the forest, benefits from a gallery with a view of the current. An outdoor spa is installed there to maximize well-being and make the experience even more unique and rejuvenating.

Equipped with two beds queen, each accommodation can accommodate up to 4 people. The mini-chalets and domes all include a kitchen equipped with a coffee maker, dishwasher and stove. Each accommodation also has a private full bathroom.

Aimed to promote comfort, regardless of the temperatures, these chalets have heated floors, a fireplace and an air conditioning system.

On site, three short hikes are offered for walkers and cyclists. These lead to different viewpoints including one over the Sept fall, one over the river and the other over the Bastican valley.

Visitors can enjoy a fire pit and have access to kayaks included in their reservation.

On site, it is also possible to rent fatbikes, paddle boards (SUP) and canoes to explore the area depending on the season. Prices vary between $25 and $55 depending on the activity and duration chosen.
