From next April, the Norwegian airline Widerøe will offer flights between Brussels Airport and Bergen, a city in southwest Norway, it announced on Wednesday. Brussels airport immediately confirmed this new connection.

The first flight is scheduled for April 12, Widerøe said on its Facebook page. The connection will begin with two flights per week in each direction.
Bergen will be a new destination in the Brussels Airport network, which already offers another connection to Norway, namely the capital Oslo.
