New investment of 1.2 million euros in the Patras factory

Looking forward to strengthening its domestic supply chain and supporting its continued growth and export promotion, Athens Brewery proceeded to expand the warehouse at the Patras factory, increasing productivity and contributing to the optimal service of the company’s customers, while ensuring optimal conditions work for workers.

The expansion of the warehouse in the Patras factory marks a new chapter for the company, supporting in a substantial way the production and efficient distribution of a wide and diversified product portfolio throughout Greece. At the same time, it offers the best working conditions for its people, through an improved spatial planning. This specific investment of 1.2 million euros gives increased long-term possibilities to the Athenian Brewery and in particular to the Patras plant, further strengthening its position in the HEINEKEN network in Europe.

3,000 sq.m. have now been added to the factory premises. of useful space, corresponding to the storage of 20% more pallets of products. In total, the warehouse of the Athenian Brewery factory in Patras employs 60 workers during the year, while the unit directly serves the company’s clientele in Western and Southern Greece, a large part of Central and Insular Greece and mainly supplies the distribution centers in Athens and Crete.
