New mecha shooter for PC and console presented

Bandai Namco unveiled Synduality, a new mecha shooter, at Tokyo Game Show 2022. Players fight against dangerous creatures with giant combat robots in order to win back the earth for the people. A first trailer was already shown at the games fair.

The story of Synduality begins in 2222, after a poisonous rain, the “Tears of the New Moon”, killed most of the people and created dangerous monsters. Last resort is the underground city of Amasia, from where people are trying to find the real reasons behind the catastrophe.

In this scenario, players take on the role of a so-called drifter who is searching for an important resource, the AO crystals, on the dangerous surface. Powerful fighting machines are ready for this. This “vector coffin” can be both optically adjusted and equipped with different weapons.

The AI Magus is also present on every mission, providing useful tips and hints as well as warnings in many situations. Online, players will always come across other Drifters and must fight them, otherwise they could jeopardize their mission successes.

Synduality is coming to PC in 2023 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Then an anime series should also start, which also picks up on the story.
