New millionaire! They win a historic US$1,326 million Powerball prize
A person from Oregon bought the ticket with the six winning numbers from the last Powerball drawing and obtained his prize of US$1.326 million, the fourth highest in the history of this lottery.

During the early hours of Sunday, April 7, a ticket sold in Oregon won the historic prize that The Powerball lottery was drawing.
A person, who until now remains anonymous, won the jackpot of this lottery after matching the six winning numbers of the draw.
The winning numbers from the drawing held on April 7, which was originally scheduled to take place a day before, were: 22, 27, 44, 52 and 69, with the Powerball at 9.
The winner of the fourth largest prize in Powerball history will be able to redeem it with annual payments on its total value or in a single cash payment amounting to US$621 million.
“The Powerball jackpot was won in Oregon. A single ticket sold in Oregon matched all six numbers to win the $1.326 million jackpot. The ‘jackpot’ has a cash value of $621 million,” Powerball reported in a statement.
The last time someone won the prize pool of this contest was during the New Year’s drawing, when one lucky person obtained the historic amount of US$842 million.

A man from Michigan won the jackpot of this lottery in this special celebration and became the first to do so since the game’s founding in 1992.
The winning numbers on that occasion were: 12, 21, 42, 44 and 49, with the Powerball at 1.
