Organized from May 8 to 12 in Montpellier, the 2024 edition of the International Extreme Sports Festival (FISE) welcomes a major novelty.
A booming discipline, Freestyle Scootering quickly found itself rubbing shoulders with other sports and sharing their spots. Thanks to its accessibility, many riders started very young and have evolved the level of tricks with them until they assert the credibility of their discipline. The presence of a rotating handlebar allows figures similar to those of BMX, from which it is largely inspired while retaining its specificities.
In 2023, the discipline was present at the International Extreme Sports Festival. The organization of the event reaches a new milestone in 2024. Indeed, the first World Skate Scootering Pro Tour event of 2024 will be held at FISE Montpellier in May. Bringing together the best riders on the planet, this stage promises an exceptional show in the south of France.
Scootering is booming
Since 1997, FISE Montpellier has been a major event in the action sports calendar, attracting hundreds of thousands of spectators for a unique event on a global scale. World Skate and Hurricane Group are obviously happy to announce this partnership to present a new high-level stage of the Scootering Pro Tour 2024.
The 2024 edition of the World Skate Scootering Pro Tour will include competitions in the Park and Street categories for Men and Women. FISE will also organize a Junior competition, giving young riders an opportunity to showcase their talent. For further details on Junior competitions, please consult the FISE website.
