Dammam: More services have been added to the Abshir service platform of the Saudi Ministry of Interior. Eight new services including transfer of vehicle ownership between families and registration have been included. The announcement of the new services was inaugurated by General Mohammad Al-Bassami, Head of the Public Security Department, and Dr. Usam Alwakeet, Head of the National Information Center.
Transfer of vehicle ownership among family members, change of number plates of company-owned vehicles, granting of vehicle registration from showrooms, transfer of bike ownership and registration, advance driving license and renewal of vehicle registration have been newly made available.
More than 350 services are available through Abshir for locals and foreigners. The unique feature of the platform is that individuals can complete it online without visiting government offices.
