The current Subaru WRX has a 2.4-liter turbo engine with 275 hp. The previous generation WRX STI has 300 horsepower at its disposal. It is expected that STI will still have ideological heirs, but these will be completely different cars. Maybe hybrid, maybe purely electric. This hints at an electric hypercar Subaru WRX E-RAwhich was presented in January at the Tokyo Motor Show.
