Company AvtoVAZ recently once again announced a large-scale increase in production. It is stated that the Togliatti Automobile Plant is going to produce about 400 thousand cars in 2023. However, it will be difficult to achieve such results with the current model range. Moreover, it should be taken into account that AvtoVAZ has not yet solved the problems with the supply of components, which is why the production of some cars is now idle, and the assembly of others is uneven.

The solution to the described problems may be the revival of one of the models. Moreover, the more likely option is the return of Lada-2110 to the Russian market. The domestic designer announced the publication of a series of renders depicting this model. Moreover, it will show how the updated Lada-2110 2022-2023.

The probability of the return of “Tens” is due to several reasons. Firstly, AvtoVAZ will not require large-scale investments in the production and development of a new model. Secondly, Lada-2110 is a simple car with a minimal set of electronic systems. This feature is especially important in the current conditions, when AvtoVAZ is forced to produce understaffed cars. Thirdly, Lada-2110 will be really cheap in case of return. That is, it will be in high demand, which will help AvtoVAZ to achieve an annual production of 400,000 vehicles.

However, the new VAZ-2110 2022-2023 will differ from its predecessor. Engineers will make some changes to it, making the appearance more modern. But the technical part of the novelty will be as simple as possible. Probably, in all versions it will be equipped with a 90-horsepower 1.6-liter engine and manual transmission.
