Amelia Kerr and Amy Satterthwaite also batted well for the third wicket. The duo added 69 runs. Shortly after Fifty, Amelia Kerr was bowled out by Rajeshwari Gaekwad in front of the wicket. The fourth-wicket partnership between Maddie Green and Satterthwaite also strengthened New Zealand. Maddy Green (27) returned with a wicket to Deepti Sharma after a 54 – run partnership. Katie Martin and Satterthwaite added 50 runs for the fifth wicket. Pooja Vastraker brought India back into the match by knocking out Satterthweight. New Zealand lost wickets in successive overs. Pooja took 4 wickets for the loss of Lia Tahuhu (1) and Jess Kerr (0). Hailey Jensen (1) was sent back by Rajeshwari Gaikwad (41) and Jhulan Goswami. Francis McCoy (13) was not out. India took 5 wickets for just 38 runs in the last 8 overs.
