Dhaka: New Zealand has a slight lead in the first cricket test against Bangladesh. In the first innings, it was up to the Bengal bowlers to end New Zealand’s struggle for 317 runs. Earlier, Bangladesh scored 310 runs in the first innings. The Kiwis took a seven-run lead.

Bangladesh started batting in the second innings. At lunch on the third day, Bangladesh were 19 runs without the loss of a wicket. Currently the hosts lead by 12 runs. Opener Zakir Hasan with 14 runs and co-opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy with five runs at the crease.
