Beneficiaries of compensation for residents of the removed neighborhoods of Jeddah praised the procedures followed by the General Authority for State Real Estate to facilitate their access to compensation.
Beneficiaries confirmed that the procedures were carried out in a smooth electronic way, starting from the submission to the completion of the procedures required to obtain compensation; And that’s after receiving calls telling them when they will get it.
The beneficiaries indicated that the compensation value is very satisfactory and fair in relation to market prices.
For his part, Director of the “State Real Estate” branch in Jeddah, Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, confirmed that the state allocated compensation amounts for the neighborhoods that were removed, noting that some transactions involve shortcomings, most notably the clearances of the water and electricity companies, and the testimony of the Real Estate Development Fund, the Agricultural Development Fund, and the Bank social development.
The Jeddah Slums Committee had identified a set of documents needed to obtain compensation.
