News 24 | Health clarifies the permissible period of sitting in front of electronic devices for children

The Ministry of Health clarified the permissible limit for children to sit in front of the TV screen or electronic devices.

The ministry indicated that children from 5 to 18 years of age must set a specific time limit so that it does not exceed two hours per day, and for pre-school children, the time does not exceed one hour per day.

She noted that children from 18 months to 24 months of age should sit for some time with a parent, but infants up to 18 months of age should not have time to sit in front of the TV.
