Sources reported that the former Romanian player in Al-Ahly club, Alexandre Mitrita, had submitted an official complaint once morest Al-Ahly to the International Football Association (FIFA).
The sources indicated, according to the Romanian newspaper digisport, that the player demanded 1.5 million euros, the value of his late salary.
Mitrita had joined Al-Ahly in October 2020 from New York City on loan, with the option to buy his contract permanently before leaving last August.
