Anthony Duclair will miss the start of the Florida Panthers’ 2022-23 season following undergoing surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon. It will cost half a season of convalescence for the player who had achieved the best accounting season of his career 61 points in 79 games (including 21 points on the power play).

Selected by the New York Rangers in the third round (80th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft, Duclair had 252 points (120 goals, 132 assists) in 470 regular season games with the Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes and Rangers.
