Brazilian striker Neymar after the elimination from the World Cup in Qatar posted on social networks correspondence with teammates, informs Brand.
Neymar said that he did not ask permission from Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Rodrigo to publish excerpts from their messages and wanted to show how upset the Brazilian football players were due to the failure in the tournament.
Brazil national team lost Croatia in the quarter-finals on penalties (1-1 after extra time, 2-4 on penalties).
To the apology of Rodrigo, who did not score in the penalty shootout and called Neymar an “idol”, the striker replied: “No need to apologize, are you crazy? Only those who are right have a chance to miss. You are amazing. Later I can teach you how to take the penalty. We’ll get through this together.”
To Marquinhos, who missed in the penalty shootout, Neymar wrote that “one missed shot will not change the opinion of him.”
Tiago Silva wrote to Neymar that he could not believe the defeat. “I want to cry every time I think about it.” Neymar replied that Tiago Silva, Dani Alves and he really deserved to become world champions, but “God has a goal for them.”
