Patrick Mahomes earned his 59th career win as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Rams 26-10 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
He became the quarterback with the most wins in NFL history before the milestone of 75 starts. He passed Ken Stabler in his 74th game on Sunday. Mahomes also completed his 38e game of at least 300 yards, the most for a player in his first seven seasons in the league. He is currently playing his sixth campaign, having played just one game as a rookie in 2017.
Still, the prolific quarterback wasn’t fully satisfied with his performance.
“We executed poorly in the pay zone and I threw a silly interception at the end of the game. We have to do better next week if we want to win,” he said.
“Winning is not always beautiful, but if the attack has difficulties, the defense takes over. Our team gets better as the year goes on,” he added of his perfect streak of 26 straight wins in a game played in November or December, the longest streak in gender in the NFL since 1950.
Mahomes a rejoint Travis Kelce rushed 39 yards for the game’s first touchdown and KC retired to the locker room up 13-3 at halftime. Isiah Pacheco scored the other touchdown in the winning clan as Harrison Butker made all four field goals.
The Chiefs are one of the hottest teams with a powerful offense and improved to 9-2.

In the absence of Matthew Staffordwhich follows concussion protocol, Bryce Perkins got his first start as a quarterback. Jacobs has over 300 yards in the win
Josh Jacobs has showmanship and he showed it on Sunday to give the Vegas Raiders a 40-34 win over the Seattle Seahawks in overtime.
With less than five minutes left in extra time, Jacobs took to his heels and crossed the 86 yards that separated him from the end zone in extra time to crown a sublime individual performance and allow the Raiders (4-7) to sign a second consecutive victory.
“To see him end the game this way. I know he has calf pain and I know how hard he works. It’s great to see that,” Raiders quarterback Derek Carr said.
Jacobs provided a flamboyant performance carrying the ball 33 times for rushing gains of 229 yards, in addition to scoring two touchdowns. Jacobs added 74 passing yards for 303 yards. He is only the fourth player in the Super Bowl era to have at least 300 yards and two touchdowns in a single game. The last to achieve the feat was Adrian Peterson in 2007.
“He is difficult to tackle. He is a strong ball carrier and has good balance. You really got to circle him,” Seahawks defensive tackle Shelby Harris said. He is not one of those running backs who get hit and fall. He makes his money breaking tackles and going for extra yards. »

The Cardinals 12 seconds from a win
The Los Angeles Chargers played a nasty trick on the Arizona Cardinals with a 25-24 victory, won in the dying seconds of the game.
Justin Herbert led a 48-yard offensive streak with less than two minutes left in the game that allowed the Chargers (6-5) to go with the victory. Herbert finished the game with 35 of 47 pass attempts completed for 274 yards, in addition to throwing three touchdown passes.
The victory allows the Chargers to end their losing streak to two, while theArizona (4-8) suffered a second consecutive loss.
The game got off to a bad start for the Chargers, who saw their opponents take a ten-point lead. The Cards opened the scoring late in the first quarter when Kyler Murray completed a 33-yard pass to DeAndre Hopkins for the major.
Herbert, however, took charge in the second quarter to get the Chargers back in the game. He first completed a pass to Keenan Allen for the touchdown, before giving LA the lead for the first time in the game by joining DeAndre Carter a little later for a 33-yard touchdown pass.
Murray restored the Cardinals to a 17-14 lead before the end of the second quarter with a touchdown on a five-yard run.
In the first moments of the fourth quarter, Murray and his men returned to the charge. Murray found James Connerwho reached the end zone six yards out for the middle finger.
But the Chargers had still not said their last word. After approaching his team from the end zone, Herbert spotted Austin Thank you in the end zone with 12 seconds to go to close the gap to one point. Herbert and the Chargers then opted for a two-point conversion, a move that paid off as Herbert found Gerald Everett to put the Chargers in front.
The defense completed the job to prevent the Cardinals from moving up the field afterwards.
The Cardinals will get a bye week, while the Chargers have a date with the Raiders next week.
Saints cleared for the first time in 21 years
San Francisco caused two fumbles at the expense ofAlvin Kamara to become the first team in nearly 21 years to shut out the New Orleans Saints. The 49ers won 13-0, good for their fourth straight win.
The Saints had not been shut out for 332 games, which was the longest active streak in the NFL and the fourth longest in history. It dates back to week 17 of the 2021 season, also against the 49ers (38-0).
The Niners (7-4) set the tone from their first streak in defense, when Fred Warner picked up a fumble from Kamara.
They then stopped the Saints (4-8) twice in the second half, notably when Kamara dropped the ball again. The Saints were ultimately limited to 63 rushing yards, whileAndy Dalton threw for 204 yards.
Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 222 yards and a touchdown for San Francisco, which went scoreless in the second half for the third straight game. The Saints kicker Wil Lutz missed a 48-yard field goal that could have reversed that trend in the third quarter, but was unsuccessful.
