The NFL and Nike unveiled the second wave of “Rivalries” uniforms on Tuesday, featuring custom helmets and jerseys for all eight teams in the NFC North and AFC South. Each team will debut its new look during a single home game against a divisional rival during the 2026 season.
The 2026 Rivalries Uniform Rollout for AFC South and NFC North
Following a 2025 launch that focused on the NFC West and AFC East, the league’s multi-year uniform program has expanded to include eight new teams. The initiative mirrors the aesthetic strategy of past campaigns like the Color Rush campaign, granting clubs permission to step away from traditional colorways in favor of locally inspired themes.
Revealing eight new Rivalries uniforms marks the next chapter in a program that is beloved by fans across the NFL and Nike,
said Taryn Hutt, vice president of club marketing at the NFL, in a statement.
“By spotlighting the launch of the AFC South and NFC North Clubs and the passionate communities behind them, we continue to capture the spirit and tradition of football’s greatest divisional rivalries.”

The program, which debuted in 2025, also proved to be a commercial success, becoming Fanatics’ best-selling merchandise release to date, according to league announcements. Following their on-field debuts this autumn, the newly minted threads will remain part of each participating team’s rotation for three seasons alongside their existing alternate uniforms.
Division-by-Division Design Breakdown
Across the NFC North and AFC South, the eight franchises embraced local history, team lore, and distinct color schemes. In Chicago, the Bears paired a base black jersey with orange numbers, an orange helmet, and orange pants—a nod to the Monsters of the Midway
era of the 1940s. Up north, the Packers honored fan ownership with an alabaster palette meant to evoke historic stock certificates, weaving similar details into the numbers and sleeves of their vintage green jerseys.
Minnesota went entirely monochromatic with a purple helmet, jersey, and pants, accented by a Vikings-knot design on the shoulders and trousers. Meanwhile, Detroit adopted a white jersey paired with a blue helmet, featuring DETROIT
stitched on the collar and black numbers outlined in blue.

In the AFC South, the Houston Texans integrated Columbia blue and red onto a white jersey and helmet combination. Because the Tennessee Titans hold the rights to the Houston Oilers name, this design serves as the closest visual nod to the franchise’s past available to the Texans. The Titans themselves countered with a black base uniform featuring a light blue helmet, Music City
stitched on the collar, and a mix of navy and baby blue elements.
Indianapolis introduced a dark gray uniform and pants paired with a dark blue helmet, a look that star cornerback and two-time All-Pro Sauce Gardner helped showcase. Jacksonville rounded out the division by pairing black pants and a white jersey with a teal helmet for the first time in franchise history, utilizing a font reminiscent of the team’s 1995 inaugural season.
Gameday Schedule and Upcoming Debuts
Retail fan apparel manufactured by Fanatics will become available for purchase on Sept. 1, while on-field appearances are mapped out across the autumn schedule. Only the home team will wear their Rivalries uniform for each designated matchup.
