NHL All-Star Fan Vote 2023 results released

Leon Draisaitl and To David Pastr are among the 12 players selected to participate in the Honda NHL All-Star Weekend in the 2023 NHL All-Star Fan Vote presented by Guaranteed Rate.

The two forwards rank second and fourth in the NHL’s scoring list, respectively (Draisaitl, 70; Pastrnak, 63). Connor McDavid by the Edmonton Oilers (84).

The All-Star Fan Vote determined the bottom three players (two skaters, one goalie) for each of the four divisions – Metropolitan, Atlantic, Central and Pacific. The first players were selected by Hockey Operations, which selected one player from each of the 32 NHL teams, and were announced on January 5th. The last twelve players were announced on Thursday.

In addition to Draisaitl also became an Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner voted to the Pacific Division by fans, as did Vancouver Canucks forward Bo Horvat. This is Draisaitl’s fourth participation in the All-Star Game, Skinner’s first and Horvat’s second.

Pastrnak (third attendance) will join his Boston Bruins teammate goalie Linus Ullmark, which was previously selected. Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy (Fourth) and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews (Fifth) were the other two players voted by fans for the Atlantic Division.

In the metropolitan division, the goalie of the New York Islanders, Ilya Sorokin, became the New York Rangers Adam Fox and Artemi Panarin, chosen. Each of the three players takes part in an All-Star Game for the first time.

the strikers Nathan MacKinnon (Fifth) and Mikko Rantanen (Secondary) were chosen by the fans and will join their teammates Cale Makar of the Colorado Avalanche, who had previously been selected to represent the team in the Central Division. The Winnipeg Jets goalie, Connor Hellebuyck (Third), became the goalkeeper chosen by the fans.

The All-Star Game will take place on February 4th (3pm ET / 9pm CET) at the FLA LIVE Arena. The All-Star Skills presented by DraftKings will take place on February 3rd (7pm ET / 4/2 1am CET).

The All-Star Game consists of a three-game, 3-on-3 tournament featuring teams from each NHL division. Each of the four teams consists of nine field players and two goalkeepers.

Rod Brind’Amour of the Carolina Hurricanes (Metropolitan), Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins (Atlantic), Peter DeBoer of the Dallas Stars (Central) and Bruce Cassidy of the Vegas Golden Knights (Pacific) were selected as coaches because their teams through January 11, the official half of the NHL regular season, had the best points averages in their respective divisions.
