“It’s a huge price, but we did a market study, and it showed that Nieuport has become very popular, especially in the last 10 years… But it’s such a unique area. Building land in Nieuwpoort is rare, so a potentially high price should be expected“, explains David Degroote, real estate developer.
In a short time, there will be 80 apartments on this vacant lot, but the rules of town planning in Nieuwpoort are strict, the buildings cannot be too big… to maintain a pleasant landscape.

If Nieuwpoort is so attractive, it is first and foremost for its marina, the largest in Northern Europe. It attracts thousands of sailing enthusiasts all year round. A few steps away, seals visible from time to time, nature, calm, and walks: four elements that are not found everywhere.
Result: almost every weekend, the hotels are full. Even out of season, Nieuwpoort welcomes several thousand visitors every week, looking for a breath of fresh air.
