You probably don’t remember Last Yearwhich, after a long development following a successful Kickstarter campaignhad the brilliant idea of going out exclusively for a few months on the Discord store end of 2018. Ah ah, you didn’t remember that either! Anyway, the developers of Elastic Games had also released their game on Steambut no luck, it had never really took off despite a few free weekends. After the bankruptcy from the development studio last summer, some members have reformed a new : Neighborhood Games. Notwithstanding the loss of intellectual property (IP), they managed to save the engine and two or three assets from their previous game to bring us Nighthunt. The years pass, but the fantasies remain, because even if their new title is no longer asymmetrical, we still embody the same teenagers who will be impaled, cut up or even shot in cards inspired by great horror films. This time, a three-person team will have to defend an area by setting traps and ambushes, while the other three-person team will have to infiltrate to steal a radio.
The Steam file indicates that the gameplay will be a mixture of Dead by Daylight and of Rainbow Six: Siegeand that there will be guns, melee weapons, and gadgets.
We won’t have to wait very long to find out what it’s worth, because the release date is set for July 25th.
