The Shaw family made up of Julie the mother, Joe the father and their two little girls aged 6 and 8 respectively will not forget their return from Turkey.
The mother of the family explains to the Mirror that TUI is experiencing major problems in the management of travel disruptions. Indeed, this small English family was supposed to take their flight back to England after a holiday spent under the Turkish sun, but not everything went as planned. That day, the British air sky was experiencing some technical problems which in turn caused several delays and cancellations including the Shaw flight which was delayed by 24 hours.
For these Belgians, summer holidays have turned into a nightmare
“We spent 23 hours at Dalaman airport. There was no hotel or TUI representative to help us. It was a nightmare”, the two little girls had to sleep on the ground because passengers could not leave the premises.
Julie and the rest of her family were finally able to take off on August 29 to return home.
