Ninho Milk Popcorn people! Someone explain to me what this “militenization” of the world is, after all everything that is revenue now it has Ninho milk.

In fact it can be any powdered milk, but Ninho is a reference, so we use it more. To be honest, I love Ninho milk, I even eat it pure, so I’m dying to try the revenues that I see around. Today it was the turn of popcornwhich I’ve heard a lot about and was very curious about.

What is Ninho Milk Popcorn?

Ninho Milk Popcorn is a magic that some crazy person invented, combining the crunch of popcorn with the sweetness of Ninho Milk. Ninho Milk has a velvety texture that when it sticks to the popcorn adds a layer that you can’t explain, it’s so different.

The result is an explosion of flavors that will make you eat nonstop! Oh, and get ready to get your fingers dirty! I thought it was really tasty, but I love sweet popcorn so make it and tell me what you think.

Popcorn Ingredients

I made sweet popcorn in a popcorn maker, (but nothing that would be difficult in a regular pan) using:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar,
  • 1/4 cup of water;
  • 1/2 cup of popcorn corn;
  • 1/4 cup of oil.

How to make this delight

There are two ways to do it, I’ll start with the steps:

  1. Pop the Popcorn: In a large pan, pop the popcorn, separate the “piruás” from the popped popcorn.
  2. Prepare the Ninho Milk: In a bowl, mix the milk with a little sugar and set aside.
  3. Mix the Ingredients: The trick is here, with the popcorn still hot, add the milk mixture and stir carefully but without stopping until all the popcorn is coated with a layer of milk.
  4. Let cool: Be patient and let it cool so that the milk sticks to the popcorn and forms a resistant layer. At this point, you can still add more milk if you want to correct something.

How I did it (Tati practical cooking method)

I put everything over medium heat in the popcorn maker, stirring constantly until it started to pop, then I lowered the heat and continued stirring until it was finished. I poured the popcorn into a baking dish and sprinkled 1/2 cup (tea) of Ninho Milk.

This popcorn comes out of the pan very sticky because of the sugar, but when it cools it hardens and turns into a caramelized shell. That’s why when it’s still hot, the powdered milk sticks to the surface.

Recipe Validity

This popcorn lasts up to 2 days if stored in a tightly closed container, but it must be completely cold to store.

Tips

But Tati, can you do it without a popcorn maker? It can, but what usually happens is that people can’t handle it after it starts to pop, then the caramel turns brown because it “burns” and the popcorn becomes bitter, so if you can and want it, my suggestion is that you buy it. a popcorn maker. It’s not expensive, it lasts “forever” and I use mine a lot.

Here’s a video with all the tips for making perfect popcorn, so check out these tips to understand what I’m talking about.

Variations

Everything that is good can always be improved, so I’ll give you some suggestions to make this delight even better:

  • Chocolate Branco: Chop small pieces of white chocolate and add to the mixture or melt and pour the syrup on top for an extra layer of flavor.
  • Strawberry or Red Fruits: Try adding a pinch of strawberry or berry powder (but if you can’t find it, I use Nesquick) and you’ll add a trip to your childhood to your popcorn.
  • Caramelized Peanuts: For those who love peanuts, try adding very small crushed and caramelized peanuts to the mix and let me know if it takes the popcorn to another level.

Videos with suggestions

I’m going to leave here some videos that you can’t miss with great ideas to “boost” your popcorn

This popcorn with bread that I made for the June festival is a delight and I can tell you that for those who like peanuts it is perfect, so you have no excuses for eating salty popcorn “because you don’t know how to make it sweet”.
